The questions homeowners ask
How do you keep the bathroom from leaking down the line?
Every wet area gets a full waterproofing membrane behind the tile, with the floor sloped to the drain. Curbless showers are waterproofed and sloped the same way, then water tested before the tile goes on.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Permits and inspections are handled where the work needs them. For moving plumbing, ventilation changes or structural work, we pull the borough permit and coordinate the inspections.
How long will it take?
It depends on scope and access: a targeted update moves faster than a full gut to the studs. We put the dated schedule in your written quote before any demolition starts.
Who is actually on site?
Our own crew runs the job, with one project lead from the first site visit to the final walkthrough. The licensed plumber, tile setter, and electrician are people we schedule and supervise, not subs you have to chase.
What if the scope changes mid-project?
Any change is priced and approved in writing before we carry it out, itemized on its own line rather than folded into an open-ended "miscellaneous labour" charge.
How does payment work?
Fixed-scope quote up front, then payments tied to written milestones as the work progresses, not a lump sum before we start. Financing is available through FinanceIt if you want it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold RBQ licence 5788-2326-01, are registered with the CNESST, and are bonded and insured. You can verify the licence on the Régie du bâtiment public registry.
