Will the patio and walkways hold up to Montreal winters?
That comes down to what is under the surface: base preparation, drainage and grading planned for Montreal's freeze and thaw. Plantings are chosen for how they grow in, not only for how they look on day one.
Do you handle permits and approvals?
Permits and inspections are handled where the work needs them. For retaining walls, grading and drainage changes, or work near the property line, we pull the borough permit and coordinate the approvals.
How long will it take?
It depends on the hardscape scope and on the weather, since exterior work is seasonal. Your written quote sets the dated schedule and the window we will be on site.
Who is actually on site?
Our own crew runs the job, with one project lead from the first site visit to the final walkthrough. Excavation, grading, hardscape, and planting are handled by our team, with any licensed trade scheduled and supervised by us, not subs you have to chase.
What if the scope changes mid-project?
Any change is priced and approved in writing before we carry it out, itemized on its own line rather than folded into an open-ended "miscellaneous labour" charge.
How does payment work?
Fixed-scope quote up front, then payments tied to written milestones as the work progresses, not a lump sum before we start. Financing is available through FinanceIt if you want it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold RBQ licence 5788-2326-01, are registered with the CNESST, and are bonded and insured. You can verify the licence on the Régie du bâtiment public registry.
